La Vee was commissioned to illustrate a booklet as a testament to “Mia mamma è una Marchesa” (‘My Mother is a Marchioness’), a highly successful Italian theatre production entirely written and performed by the outstanding Ippolita Baldini – more of her extraordinary work can be viewed at ippolitabaldini.org Prints of the booklet are distributed at all productions of the play, which so far have taken place throughout Italy, as well as in Paris and San Francisco.
